About the Artist
Agnes Waruguru Njoroge received a B.F.A. with honours in painting and a minor in art history from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, Georgia in spring of 2017. She earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma from the United World College of Southern Africa, Mbabane, Swaziland in 2013. Her art is one of disclosure, using her cultural background and nomadic lifestyle as inspiration for works ranging from painting, drawing, printmaking, needlework and installation. Her work has been exhibited in group shows internationally, including galleries in Savannah (GA), Valencia (CA) in the USA; Lacoste, France and Nairobi, Kenya.
