AFRICAN ART: THE ARAK COLLECTION: NAIROBI BOOK LAUNCH

Join us at Circle Art Agency on 1 November 2025, for the Nairobi launch of African Art: The ARAK Collection, the definitive and debut publication of the Qatar-based ARAK Collection—founded by Abdul Rahman AlKhelaifi and home to over 4000 works by artists from Sub-Saharan Africa. The Nairobi launch will be supported by Circle Art Agency and Strauss and Co, will feature a discussion between Danda Jarolijmek and curator Fulufhelo Mobadi. The talk will provide context into the making of the book, the works therein, and the speakers’ ongoing engagement with the Collection, particularly its role in strengthening artistic communities on the continent and forging platforms for the production and dissemination of knowledge.
