Almas Art Foundation is delighted to announce a new partnership with ARAK Collection, an acclaimed platform dedicated to documenting, supporting, and publishing contemporary art from across the African continent and its diaspora. This collaboration marks an exciting moment in Almas’ ongoing mission to champion African and African diaspora voices within the global art ecosystem.
Through this partnership, twelve of ARAK Collection’s groundbreaking publications are now available for purchase at the Almas Art Foundation gallery in London and via our online store offering audiences unparalleled access to the Collection’s curatorial vision and editorial depth.
Each publication captures a facet of the rich, dynamic, and ever-evolving landscape of contemporary African art. Spanning diverse geographies from Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda to Angola, Nigeria, Sudan, and South Africa these books reflect a multiplicity of artistic voices and critical perspectives. Themes of identity, belonging, futurism, spatial politics, and representation are woven through the pages of these meticulously produced volumes.

Titles such as Worldmaking within Politics of Sight and Space, Beyond the Chrysalis, The Distance Between Yesterday and Tomorrow, Mask Off, and Dust Tracings reveal layered narratives that challenge, inspire, and reimagine how we see and understand African creativity today. In parallel, African Art: The ARAK Collection serves as a defining monograph of the Collection’s ethos bringing together over one hundred artists in a sweeping reflection on contemporary African art through the lenses of Abstraction, Portraiture, and Place.
Together, these twelve publications embody the ARAK Collection’s commitment to fostering critical dialogue, research, and education, expanding global awareness of artistic practices emerging from Africa and its diaspora.
“We’re thrilled to bring ARAK Collection’s visionary publications to our audiences in London,” said a spokesperson for Almas Art Foundation. “This partnership reflects our shared belief in the power of storytelling and critical discourse to reshape narratives and celebrate the extraordinary breadth of contemporary African art.”
With this collaboration, Almas Art Foundation continues to affirm its role as a vital cultural bridge connecting collectors, scholars, artists, and art lovers to the creativity and intellectual rigor flourishing across Africa and its global communities
