Breakfast Reception Marking Art BaselQatar’s Inaugural Edition

The ARAK Collection hosted a breakfast reception markingthe inaugural edition of Art Basel Qatar, with Kami Gahiga, VIP Representativefor the Africa region at Art Basel, in attendance.

Conceived as a point of encounter between localpractitioners and visiting international audiences, the gathering created spacefor exchange and dialogue while situating the ARAK Collection within Doha’sbroader and expanding cultural landscape. The reception introduced guests tothe collection’s curatorial vision and ongoing programme, alongside apresentation of an exhibition of Namibian contemporary art.

The event reflected the ARAK Collection’s commitment tofostering connections across geographies, and to supporting conversationsbetween artists, institutions, and audiences engaging with contemporary art inthe region and beyond.
